Sweet dreams Rosie (Geraldine Doyle).  You’ve inspired millions.
abcworldnews:

Washington Post has a wonderful piece today about the woman who inspired the poster Rosie the Riveter. Geraldine Doyle was a one-time factory worker who died Dec. 26 at age 86.  She technically worked as a metal worker, not a riveter and only worked at the factory for two weeks.  Still, that was long enough to be immortalized in one of America’s most famous posters.
